

UCA is proud to partner with Game Dev Local to support the indie dev community and serve as the venue host for GDLX26 Indie Games Expo for the second year in a row.
The University has been developing and supporting the next generation of games industry talent for fifteen years, through its undergraduate and postgraduate art, design and science degrees taught by those who have worked in, and continue to work in, the games and XR industries. Graduate destinations and careers include AAA, AA, iii, indie, VR, AR, VFX, Virtual Production, Motion Capture, Simulation, and Serious Games.

UCA’s games department is an avid supporter of graduate entrepreneurs and indie game start-ups, helping multiple teams to launch their first unique game IP to market through the UCA Games Incubator Studio, established in 2016.It is also an active research department directly plugged into the games industry, engaged in a range of R&D projects, vertical slice development, and IP to Market activities with renowned games studios in the UK and around the world.
